This release includes the lastest build of the AiR Syncrosoft Dongle Emulator. We've tweaked some things and added some pre-code for future releases. We also spotted a problem with drawing envelopes for Cubase 5 VST3 dynamics plugins while using the emu. This has now been corrected. So if you are having problems you should install this version of SYNSOEMU.DLL (v2.0.1.0).

Poly-Ana is finally here! Get ready for a new experience in virtual analog synthesis! Poly-Ana uses a different approach than most other VA soft-synths which we feel delivers a sound more authentic to the early analog synths that inspired her features. This "brute-force" method admittedly requires more processing power than other common techniques, but is a far truer model of the functioning of real analog instruments. If you obsess over the quality of your sound like we do then you won't mind using a bit more CPU power to help get you closer to that real analog sound; a sound that so many other VA synths fall too-far short of. (Note that Poly-Ana also offers a Quality option to reduce CPU usage during performance-time at the expense of sound quality.) Syflex Sylfid-F2 VSTi 1.0

Sylfid-f2 is a VSTi / audio plugin that generates sounds by hitting "virtual strings" with "virtual hammers", computing the propagation of the waves on the strings, and converting them to sounds. It is based on the same technology as Sylfid-f1 but doesn't have all the complex tuning options of Sylfid-f1. It has one single type of hammer, and the parameters are global to all the keys.

Sylfid-f2 doesn't use any samples: everything is computed in real time. This allows to create sounds that exhibit real-life properties like rich tones and long decays, without any samples, no loops and no reverb:

Another benefit of the simulation is that there are no discontinuities between the notes, or between different velocities.
The same note played at a higher velocity will have a different sound, with more harmonics, as you would expect with a real string:

The model used for the strings includes its material: from metallic to plastic. This changes the harmonics and tone:

M40 Studio Reverb features three main reverb algorithms. The Hall algorithm emulates a large hall with a broad and warm reverb.

Room emulates a small and well-furnished room with an intimate ambience and going back in time the Plate reverb algorithm emulates the large metallic plates which were used to create reverbs before digital signal processing was commonplace.

With twelve voices inspired by the famous X0X series of analog drum machines and an
internal sequencer that is second to none, Tattoo makes an excellent addition to the arsenal for any electronic music producer.

Each of the twelve internal voices has been created using our proprietary D-Plane synthesis,
and each has been extensively tested and tuned in order to have a broad palette.
Every parameter of every voice has its own modulation sequencer, allowing for extensive motion within a pattern.

The grid sequencer in Tattoo is a whole world unto itself, with comprehensive randomization features
and multiple sync modes, including a MIDI note sync to enable use with virtually any time signature,
groove template, or host swing. The sequencer has MIDI out (VST only) to drive other sound sources,
to double or replace Tattoo's internal sounds.

In short, Tattoo is more than a simple drum synth; it is a complete rhythm

own sequencer, including randomization.

Synchronized: Tattoo can run off its internal sequencer, from host sync, or
via "note sync," where the sequencer can be stepped with MIDI notes. In
this way, Tattoo can run in any time signature you can come up with, or
sync to any groove template in any host sequencer.

MIDI Input: Tattoo's MIDI implementation includes full MIDI learn for all
parameters and MIDI pattern switching. You can also use MIDI note input in
addition to or instead of Tattoo's internal sequencer, and still have
access to the randomization features and MOD sequencing.

MIDI Output: Tattoo sends MIDI output of all its note events, including
randomization, so you can use its step sequencer to drive any other drum
synth or sampler (or any instrument, really) as long as your host allows
MIDI routing from a plug-in instrument.

Audio Outputs: Tattoo has six stereo outputs. The first buss has a modified
version of the Kombinat "One Knob Compressor" to add a little (or a lot of)
squish to things
